Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to join the HRC Hornet Riders Club, one of Sri Lanka's most respected biker communities. Some of my friends own the sleek and powerful Honda Hornet 250CC bikes, along with other high-capacity models. Their enthusiasm for biking inspired me to embark on a few exciting tours and meetups organized by the club.
The Hornet Riders Club is not just about riding—it's a community that celebrates the freedom, thrill, and camaraderie that biking brings. From the breathtaking coastal routes to the scenic hill country, the rides were filled with stunning views, the roar of engines, and a shared passion for exploring the beauty of Sri Lanka on two wheels.
During these meetups, experienced riders shared their biking journeys, offering invaluable advice to beginner riders and new bike owners. There was something truly special about hearing from those who have been riding for years, picking up tips on bike maintenance, safety, and how to make the most of each ride.
The club also invited specialized guests from the biking industry. Among the notable guests were Sri Lankan racers, motor engineers, and sponsors who are deeply involved in the country's biking scene. These experts not only provided insight into high-performance riding but also offered exclusive deals on bike services, tires, and other essential gear. The knowledge-sharing sessions were a fantastic opportunity to learn from professionals, making the meetups as informative as they were enjoyable.
If you’re interested in joining the HRC Hornet Riders Club, just head over to Facebook and search for “HRC.” You’ll find the page where members, many of whom have a deep love for Hornet bikes, come together to share their passion. It’s a great way to connect with like-minded riders and get involved in future rides and events!
I’ve documented these adventures and the vibrant spirit of the HRC community in my latest video, which you can watch at the bottom of this blog post. Whether you're a seasoned biker or just starting, there’s so much to gain from being part of a community like HRC. If you’re into bikes and love exploring, this club is definitely worth joining!
